Create an additional SMS opt-in channel where customers text a specific keyword to your OneText number. Keywords can trigger a unique flow, making them perfect for campaigns, social media, or product packaging.

Keywords also allow you to create targeted campaigns or easily share an opt-in opportunity. By offering something fun and unique, you can encourage engagement and boost your SMS list.

• Try making the keyword relevant to your brand and easy to remember.

• Promote your keyword on social media, emails, or in packaging.

How to Create a Keyword

1. Navigate to the "Keywords" section of the OneText dashboard.

2. Select either a Custom Flow or Core Flow:

   

   • Custom Flows are links that can be created and used anywhere

   • Core Flows are connected directly to an existing OneText automation (welcome flows, recovery flows, etc.)

3. Enter the keyword that the customer will use to trigger the flow.

   

4. Enter the message that will be sent automatically in response to the customer sending the keyword.

5. Click "Create Keyword" and you're done!
