Rich Communication Services (RCS) is the next evolution of SMS, bringing app-like experiences to native text messaging, with no need for downloads.

What is RCS?

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is a new messaging protocol backed by Google and major carriers that upgrades the traditional SMS experience. It works natively in the default Messages app on iPhone and Android and supports:

  • High-res images and videos

  • Carousels and quick-reply buttons

  • Brand customization (name, logo, colors)

  • Read receipts and delivery confirmations

  • Verified sender status

It’s like having your own mobile web experience—delivered through a message.

Why Should Brands Care?

RCS is designed for engagement. Brands that adopt it early are seeing significantly higher click-through and conversion rates compared to traditional SMS.

Key benefits:

  • No app needed: It works out of the box on Android devices.

  • Brand visibility: Your name, logo, and colors appear prominently.

  • Interactivity: You can create more engaging flows (e.g., product galleries, appointment confirmations, add-to-cart CTAs).

  • Trust & security: Your messages show as verified, which boosts credibility and reduces spoofing.

RCS is still in early rollout, but OneText is one of the only providers offering immediate early access. That means:

  • Your brand can be part of the first wave.

  • You’ll be positioned ahead of your competitors.

  • You’ll help shape the future of mobile messaging.

What Does It Cost?

Pricing is still being finalized and will be shared soon. For now, we’re offering early access to a limited number of partners at no cost to apply.
