Our default welcome message uses three product choices based on the recent orders on your store. We also have a way to customize the message even further. There are two common cases where deeper customization is needed:

  1. when the store has a single SKU, and
  2. when you have multiple products and you want the shopper to browse the website.

Let’s explore both of these cases.

Single SKU

Go to OneText and click Core Flow Settings

Template

Select Welcome Message to turn on the welcome flow.

Incentive

Set up the incentive that you are offering to your new SMS subscribers. It can be a percentage, a full amount, a cashback, or a Shopify discount code.

Custom

Select Custom Welcome Flow.

Content

  • Please select the template.
  • Add the content of your message. You can use this template as an inspiration:

Hey! 👋 Welcome to the Cookie Store!

Thanks for subscribing to text messages! My name is Sarah, I’m a real person and here to help.
